Stuck in traffic and hungry right after crossing the causeway, I decided to stop in and check this place out, and I’m very glad I did! I was greeted warmly by my server and escorted at my request to a nice patio table overlooking the water. Ordered the seafood chowder and the lobster roll with a fully loaded baked potato as my side. The chowder was one of the best I’ve had recently and I’ve been trying chowder all over Nova Scotia the past month. Lots of seafood in there and not overly creamy. I also don’t really like potatoes in my chowder but those in the chowder actually had a perfect texture without there being too many. The lobster roll had plentiful lobster and a great, fresh taste to it. The baked potato was standard fare, but they didn’t skimp on the fixins, which I appreciate. To top off the great food, I received excellent and friendly service, even chatting with my server about the area once my meal was done. This will be my go-to spot next time in heading to Cape Breton. Highly recommend for the food, the service, and the atmosphere!

I ordered the Sea Scallops and chose Mac ‘n Cheese as my side dish. My husband ordered the Brisket (homemade BBQ sauce) with a loaded baked potato. Both meals were delicious. The table next to us ordered lobster rolls, and they were overflowing with lobster. Great view of the water from the patio. Will definitely be back.

The waitress was very hard-working and had good energy! She was so sweet about the fact that I ordered a lobster and wasn’t really sure how to eat it . The seafood chowder was a solid 3/5 but the other meals were 4/5. There’s a patio with a view and the interior is quiet and quaint. Good stop on your way but not super special either.

We stumbled upon it while driving by and saw it has a high Google review rating. We decided to give it a try and I think the high rating is well justified. Ordered Seafood pasta, beef brisket, and 2 lbs of mussels. Surprisingly all three dishes flavor are to our liking. Also Seafood Pasta amount is generous.

Came in to have a quick dinner because I was running late for a flight. The owner acknowledged my time and served me within 15 mins. I got bbq pulled pork sliders, lobster rolls, baked potato, and corn bread. All items were great and would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

The best restaurant in the area! We came here by fluke, but are so happy we found this place! The food was amazing, and well priced. We had the muscles, scallops and the sea food fettuccine - all out of this world. One piece of constructive feedback, perhaps using a sourdough, or fresh roll for the garlic toast to pair with the pasta dishes. The desserts were all homemade, and amazing! Staff was super friendly, and would recommend to anyone looking for some fresh, local seafood.

Small, cozy restaurant off the highway. Hands down the best place we’ve had dinner at during our time in Cape Breton. Lobster Roll with Cesar Salad was mouth watering, Seafood chowder was the best we’ve had all week. The owner is super friendly and came to talk to us, apparently they make everything themselves with local ingredients. Service was fast. Parking right in front of the restaurant. Outdoor seating available. If you’re on your way to Cape Breton and need a short break, this is your spot.

Very nice restaurant, The loster roll was great, salads with bacon pieces. Not bacon bites which so good and fresh, the cheese cake was delicious and creamy, definitely come back next time to try the mussels
